Fidos Oatmeal Conditioner is a Ph balanced, soap and paraben free formula with a fresh fruit fragrance has been formulated to sooth and moisturise the animal’s skin & coat after washing in Fidos Oatmeal Shampoo as it replaces any natural oils that can be stripped out by bathing and leaves the animals coat shiny while it conditions it also calms and deodorises the skin and coat to minimise irritation and maximise pet comfort by helping to relieve dry and itchy skin for a more comfortable pet

This Oatmeal Conditioner is a concentrated conditioner that has been formulated by veterinarians, so this has been recommended to soothes any animals with irritable or sensitive skin for less agitation and itching as it helps hydrate and moisturise skin and coat, for maximum lustre and shine

Can be used on dogs and cats of all ages, eliminating the need for multiple conditioners

Depending on the size of the pet, put about a 20c piece-sized of Fido’s Oatmeal Conditioner in your hands and rub through the coat, particularly any areas that commonly get matted (like thighs, groin, armpits, feet, shoulders, chest and tail. For larger pets a measure can, be put into a litre dilution bottle & then topped up with water and swirled to mix before applying to the whole pet as Oatmeal Conditioner may be rinsed off immediately or left on the pet while you continue to massage into the coat for a minute or two prior to rinsing.

The benefits of using a conditioner after washing an animal are that when you wash animals coat the dirt and oils are lifted from the hair shaft and the hair dries out which can leave the scales on the hair shaft lifted up and away so this makes it easier for the hair to tangle and snag, and makes it harder to brush without pulling causing discomfort on your animal

Conditioners coat the animals coat and smooth the hair shaft, allowing the hairs to slide apart from each other. This doesn’t mean you have to use a product that is oily or heavy many light conditioners will do this job effectively. Conditioners also aid to retain moisture in the skin making grooming easier & a faster drying process which reduces stress on the animal

MJs NZ 2017 Ltd recommends Before the diluting shampoo/conditioner concentrate, all containers and caps must be cleaned with very warm water or a sterilizing solution (alcohol, etc). Any unused, diluted shampoo material should be discarded 24-32 hours after mixing without proper cleaning and sterilization, bacteria and other contaminants can grow in the bottle and then are inadvertently poured on and rubbed into the skin of the animal being bathed.
