The bottom blade has 31 teeth and the top blade has 23 teeth (a coarse top blade means the teeth are further apart to allow hair to move more freely through top blade) leaving a cutting length of 2-3 mm which is ideal for a clean close style cut that’s ideal for show preparation or regular maintenance on the animals coat & is perfect for trimming around the face,ears and other sensitive areas of the animal
