MJs NZ 2017 Ltd recommend you add MJs Blade Wash to remove fur & debris off your blades which can be let on the Clipper and gently lower blade/blades into the blade wash solution placed into the Blade Caddy & turn Clipper on low and dirt etc will vibrate off then wipe blade/blades with soft dry cloth & once blades are dry then lightly oil them

Blade wash also aids to prevent corrosion by displacing moisture and can also be used to cool blades during heavy usage. Suitable for animal groomers, veterinarians, equestrian stables, hairdressers and barber’s clipper blades should be cleaned properly every day & between all grooms to prevent the spread of germs among the dogs that visit the salon and to prevent them from becoming damaged

If your clipper blades are not cleaned properly between grooms it can lead to a number of issues. The most common problem is the transmission between dogs of potential infections which can include skin infections, parasites, and other contagious conditions that can spread through contact with contaminated clipper blades

When you use your clippers, they produce a lot of friction & heat, hence the heat they produces can damage your clipper blades if oil is not used to keep them well lubricated.

The high speed of the two parts of the blades rubbing against each other causes friction which in turn, generates heat. To minimize the clipper blades heating up, they need regular lubrication in the form of the specialist MJs NZ`s clipper oil so that they glide smoothly against each other to produce the least amount of friction

Directions for Use for Blade Oil-**Never leave the blades in this wash for more than 5-10 minutes**

Apply 2 – 3 drops at the corners of the blade’s top, as well as the foot of the blade approx every 15 minutes approx of use for cooler running blades
