Mjs 7” 35 Tooth Straight Thinner Water Green Scissor are a professional light- medium weight grooming scissor made from Japanese VG 10 which is a premium high carbon stainless steel with a Rockwell hardness of HRC 60-62 that will achieve results with these straight scissors as they have a superior cutting due to the scissor metal hardness, giving them durability and resistance to chipping or breaking as they have the edge to make VG10 a material of choice for professional-grade scissors requiring precision and long-lasting sharpness

*Thinning Or Blending Scissors* are designed to be used to “thin” thick hair with a cut made close to the skin, another application is to use near the hair ends for a more natural look. Thinning scissors are best used to blend, but they only remove a small amount of hair with each cut – so they take off less hair than blenders do so when blending try to go from short hair to long hair, this will help blend effortlessly and it means you will have to angle down your scissors when blending a clipped back into a longer leg/finishing & they are also perfect for using underneath the topcoat of the animals coat

The term ‘blending’ means for the groomer to use their blending scissor to make a seamless transition between two or more areas on the dog’s body.

*PLEASE NOTE* When using any thinners/sculpture scissors they do require the correct technique to be used. If these types of scissors are used with the wrong technique it will cause the scissor teeth to jam, hit or catch causing damage DO NOT attempt to keep using the scissors as this will only create more damage to the scissors, this ONLY happens when you are applying the incorrect thumb pressure to the scissor and it can also happen when these scissors are “OVER OPENED” which creates the scissor tension/alignment to be incorrect & makes the scissors un-usable this ACTION IS NOT COVERED by Mjs NZ 2017 Ltd Scissor Warranty as ALL of our scissors are checked & tested to be working/cutting 100% by our scissor technicians on departure from us
